He grew up in an intelligent family of teachers. Since childhood, the boy was fond of music, played the guitar well. His grandfather composed bard songs, which left an imprint on Semyon's future work.
After leaving school, Slepakov entered the Pyatigorsk Linguistic University and studied in two departments at once: economic and linguistic. At the insistence of his mother, Semyon subsequently received the title of candidate of economic sciences. Slepakov is fluent in French and even planned to move to France. But this was not destined to come true. While still a student, Slepakov began to play in KVN. Since 2000, he became the captain of the national team and remained so for 6 years. Under his leadership, in 2004, the Pyatigorsk National Team became the champion of the Higher League. In the same year, Slepakov moved to Moscow at the invitation of his friend Garik Martirosyan and became one of the founders and participants of the new Comedy Club show.
