A plait made of beads is a simple and at the same time original decoration, it is voluminous. The tourniquet can become a necklace or bracelet, earrings. You can make an ornament from two or more plaits, it all depends on your imagination. It is simple to execute it, it is enough to weave in a circle using the "mosaic" technique.
It is necessary
Beads or large beads, strong thread, scissors, needle, glue or clear nail polish, well-lit work area
Instructions
Step 1
The tourniquet is woven on a single thread, the length must be at least 50 cm.
Cut the thread to the required length, thread one end into a needle, or treat it with clear nail polish and wait for it to dry (if there is no needle). The beaded cord with large holes can be woven without a needle (no need to process it with nail polish).
Collect an even number of beads and connect into a ring, for this, thread the needle through the first bead, as shown in the photo (pull up the working thread). Leave the non-working end of the thread at least 10 cm in order to secure the lock.
Step 2
To weave a tourniquet, it is necessary to insert the needle into every second bead of the previous row (in even rows). The bead into which the thread was inserted in order to form a ring is considered the last in the row, not the first.
Step 3
Put on the bead, lower it down and insert the needle into the next bead of the previous row, as shown in the photo. That is, the bead that you have typed must be placed above the bead of the first row.
Step 4
Put a bead on the thread, slide it down and thread the needle into the next bead. The plait is made according to the principle of "brickwork" with a slight displacement of the beads. At the end of the row, pull the working thread through the last bead into which the needle was inserted in the first row in order to form a ring. It is considered a connecting bead; there is a connecting bead in each row.
Step 5
To weave the next row, you need to insert the needle into the bead, as shown in the photo (this must be done in each row). In odd rows, insert a needle into every first bead.
Step 6
In the second and subsequent rows, add half of the beads from the total number in the first row. For example, six beads were collected for the sample, which means that the second and subsequent row consists of only three. The number of beads in each row cannot decrease or increase, if there are more or less beads, it means that they made a mistake when weaving the previous row.
Step 7
In the process of weaving, the working thread will end, it will be necessary to attach another thread. If the beads are large, then another piece of thread must be tightly tied to the working thread (tie a strong knot). Hide the knot in the hole of the bead, hide the ends of the threads in the adjacent beads. Before that, it is worth carefully greasing the knot and the ends of the threads with transparent glue in order to secure them securely. If the beads are small, then the end of the thread must be securely fastened, a new piece of thread must be pulled through several rows of beads, the non-working end must be securely fastened.
Step 8
Weave a plait of the required length.
Step 9
Pull the thread several times through the beads of the last row, as well as the non-working end through the beads of the first row.
Step 10
Attach the lock, process the ends of the thread with glue and pass through several rows of beads, fasten carefully. Instead of a conventional lock, special tips can be attached to the ends of the bundle, and a lock can be attached to them.
