The decoration is doubly appreciated if it is made by hand. But what makes it even more valuable is the fact that you made it for yourself. You were guided by the color of the eyes or the silhouette of the clothes for which it was intended, so it suits you perfectly. These are the beads you can string yourself at home.
Instructions
Step 1
Regardless of the complexity of the idea, first draw a sketch of the beads on paper. Determine the material you will work with: it can be wooden, crystal or plastic beads, natural stone, beads. Draw an ornament if you want to see it on your piece, but don't over-complicate it, especially at first. Until you have enough experience, it will be difficult for you to implement your plans. Start with simple geometric patterns like rhombuses. But more often, for the first time in work, one color or one size of beads is used, without a pattern.
Step 2
You can string beads, stone or beads on wire, fishing line or thread, depending on the desired flexibility or stiffness (materials are listed in order of decreasing stiffness). In addition, thread is the only warp that requires working with a needle without fail. In other cases, you can do without it.
Whichever base you choose, do not string the bead at the very end, but leave 15-20 cm. Fix the first one by going through it again. Thanks to this loop, it will not slip during work, and the ponytail will not shrink (later you will attach the fastener to it). Cut length (thread, fishing line, wire) - 50-60 cm. A larger cut will get confused, interfere and slow down the work.
Step 3
The easiest way to string beads is one by one, through the through holes. Type the required number of beads, the same or different in size and color, depending on the sketch. As a result, the product should not be shorter than the neck circumference (ideally one and a half times longer), and at the end there should be one more tail for the other part of the lock.
Step 4
If desired, complicate the bead pattern by using an additional cut and stringing other beads and beads onto it: arrange loops or fringes, twigs or figures. Use openwork, mosaic and cross weaving patterns.
Step 5
Fasten the lock at the ends of the beads by passing through the special holes. Hide the ends inside the product.
