Very often craftswomen use thin fishing line. Previously, such a line could only be purchased at a fishing store, but now art salons offer a special line designed specifically for beading in small, convenient spools. The advantage of fishing line is that it is as flexible as thread and strong as wire. The ends of the line can be easily hidden by burning them with a match or lighter. In addition, in stores you can find fishing line of various colors, which will make your product more accurate.
Step 5
If you still want to string the beads on a thread, and there are no needles at hand, dip the edges of the thread in colorless nail polish or glue. Let them dry. They will keep their shape and fit well inside the beads. This method perfectly imitates beading with a needle.
