Drawing with a pencil is quite an exciting activity, but many people who want to learn how to draw beautifully face such a problem as the inability to place highlights, thanks to which the drawing turns out to be believable. For example, drawing eyes (like drawing other parts of a person's face) is particularly challenging.

Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to sketch the future eye, for this draw three arcs. Two arcs should go from above, with a bend downward, and one arc - from below (with a bend upward). In this way, you should get a sketch of the eye and upper eyelid.
Step 2
Next, you need to outline the place where and what shape the eyebrow will be, draw the iris of the eye. It is worth noting here that it is unnecessary to draw the iris round; it is necessary to draw its lower and upper parts cut off, since it is located under the eyelids.
Step 3
The next stage is the drawing of the pupil and the lower eyelid. The lower eyelid is drawn in an arc, repeating the lower bend of the eye. As for the pupil, it should have the shape of a circle and always have a light highlight.
Step 4
Next, you need to shade the iris of the eye, and at the edges of the iris should have a darker color. The glare on the pupil should turn into the glare on the iris.
Step 5
The next stage is drawing the eyelashes, as well as sketching the shadows in the eye. The lower cilia should be short, protruding under slight slopes (some intersecting with each other). The upper eyelashes are three times longer than the lower ones. They need to be drawn in the direction from the eyelid upwards, slightly tilting the lines to the side (towards the outer corner of the eye). At this stage, you need to lightly shade the upper and lower part of the eye. Better to use a soft pencil.
Step 6
The final stage is eyebrow shaping and shadow placement. It is better to draw an eyebrow with a hard pencil so that the "hairs" are visible, but a soft pencil is more suitable for depicting shadows. They need to darken the lower eyelid as well as the areas to the side of the eye. From the outside of the eye, the shadow should go up, and from the inside - down. In the same way, you need to draw the second eye, but in a mirror image.
