Before you start drawing a person's face, you should practice depicting all of its individual elements. Each individual has a different mouth, nose, ears and eyes, so they should be carefully examined. Pay attention also to how the lighting and the appearance of the object of interest change with different turns of the head. Pay special attention to studying the technique of drawing with a pencil of human eyes, because the gaze, first of all, always falls on them.

It is necessary

  • - pencil
  • - a piece of paper
  • - eraser

Instructions

Step 1

Start drawing the eyes from the upper eyelid. Pay attention to its thickness. In no case should you ignore it, otherwise the eyes will turn out to be unrealistic. However, it is also important not to overdo it with thickness. Do not use too dark lines to draw the eyelid. Also pay attention to the lacrimal gland. If you don't draw it, it will immediately catch your eye, so it should be present in the drawing. It is not at all necessary to draw it carefully, it will be enough just to highlight the lacrimal gland with a few strokes.

Step 2

Draw the outline. Of course, the eyes are almond-shaped, however, upon closer examination, you can notice subtle angles that are also present.

Step 3

Then add some color to the eyes, in particular, after drawing the pupil, paint over it. Pay attention to which part of the iris is hidden under the eyelid. This part is usually about one third. If you try to draw the entire pupil, you will get the effect of wide-open eyes, as happens when a person drinks too much Pepsi or coffee. Make sure that the pupil is clearly centered and not skewed to one side. Make the iris a little paler than the pupil. You can also add some lines directed from the edges towards the center.

Step 4

Then proceed to more detailed drawing of the eyes. Most importantly, take your time. Use an eraser if necessary.

Step 5

Please note that eyelashes and eyebrows are depicted differently for different shapes of the eye cut. Be as accurate as possible and, perhaps, in the near future, someone will already begin to learn from you how to draw a person's eyes correctly.

Step 6

Draw the look. Right or left, up or down. Keeping both pupils in the correct direction is very important here. Don't forget about glare too. They are placed on the pupils depending on the direction of incidence of the light. Leave the area unhatched where the highlight should be, or erase the pencil with an eraser.
