Fractals woven from threads are a new, original and stylish solution for interior decoration. With the seeming difficulty, mastering the art of weaving fractals is not so difficult.

Step 1
The classical definition of a fractal is a self-similar figure, each part of which repeats the whole. The art of weaving fractals originated in club culture - complex psychedelic figures, woven from colored fluorescent threads, were used to decorate rooms. Fractals can also be weaved from ordinary threads, from nylon threads, then painting them with fluorescent paints or leaving them in their original form.
Step 2
A triangle can be used as a basic element of a fractal. You will need nylon threads or thin slats for the frame, threads for weaving, scissors.
Step 3
Connect two pieces of thread in the form of a triangle, it is possible with different sides. Divide each side into an equal number of segments. Number the segments from the lower left to the center and then to the lower right and braid with a cobweb of ordinary threads according to the scheme: 1-11, 2-12 and further up to 10-20.
Step 4
Do not intertwine the threads, just lay them on top of each other! Attach the threads to the frame with knots, you can tie each knot with a small piece of nylon thread so that the weaving does not slide along the frame. The tension should be very strong, the threads should not sag.
Step 5
Then, using one side of the already prepared triangle, wire the next element. It braids in the same way. As a result, you get a fractal web of 8 triangles. You can use safety pins to secure it to the wallpaper.
