Quilling is a paper-rolling technique, which implies the production of various paintings by means of narrow and long strips of colored paper twisted in a spiral. To master quilling, you do not need any special devices; those who wish can purchase everything they need at the nearest store.

Step 1
Tweezers.
It is imperative that the tweezers are not chipped, otherwise crumpled marks will remain on the paper.
Step 2
Scissors.
There are no special requirements for scissors in quilling. The only condition: the tips should be pointed, like tweezers. This achieves maximum precision when cutting the fringe.
Step 3
Awl.
To work correctly with colored paper, a 1 mm awl is required. In addition, it is important to pay attention to the shape of the tool: it should not be conical, because in quilling an awl is used to wind spirals.
Step 4
Glue.
Any colorless glue is suitable for paper rolling, but beginners are advised to use the usual PVA.
Step 5
Drawing tools.
In order to create the primary composition, you must first make the markup. In this case, a ruler, compasses and several pencils of various thicknesses will come in handy.
