With the help of beads, you can bring to life the most original and unusual ideas - this material is able to take the form of any object, accessory or jewelry, if the craftswoman is confident in the technique of beading. When starting to work with beads, it is best to weave simple figures and decorations that will help you acquire the basic weaving skill. In this article we will tell you how to make small figurines from beads in the form of bright insects, used as keychains, brooches or commemorative jewelry.
Instructions
Step 1
For weaving a ladybug, take beads of several colors. You will also need a long wire for beading - its length should be 80 cm.
Step 2
Put eight brown beads on the center of the wire, and then fix them by passing one of the ends of the wire through five beads towards the opposite edge, forming two rows - of three and of five brown beads.
Step 3
On one end of the wire, put on six beads - brown, green, two brown, green again and one brown again. In the opposite direction, insert the second end of the wire into the beads - both ends will be on different sides, and the row will be fixed. You braided part of a ladybug's head.
Step 4
After that, weave a row of six red beads, and then weave the legs for the figure - put four brown beads at the ends of the wire. Except for the last bead, thread the end of the wire into the remaining three beads and tighten.
Step 5
Repeat on the other side. After that, repeat the usual rows - make a row of eight red beads, and then the same row of ten beads.
Step 6
Take four brown beads and weave the two side legs again. Finish the weaving of the ladybug, evenly tapering the rows towards the end. The last row should contain only 4 red beads. Twist and secure the ends of the wire by putting some black beads on them and threading the ends inward.
Step 7
Using the same principle of weaving parallel rows, you can make a simple, beautiful dragonfly, instead of wings, weaving elongated translucent stones or rhinestones to the body with double fastening. You can also easily weave a lizard or snake by braiding to the body from parallel lines of the foot.
