The assortment of beads offered by the shops is, of course, diverse. But to create such decorations so that others do not get tired of looking at them, you can only do it yourself. To do this, there are many ways to make unique beads, for example, felting.

It is necessary

  • - natural wool of different colors;
  • - a jar from under the Kinder Surprise toy;
  • - warm water;
  • - liquid soap;
  • - a set of special needles.

Instructions

Step 1

Place the amount of wool you need in a jar. Dampen it with warm water and liquid soap. Punch a small hole in the top of the other half of the jar. Close the jar and shake vigorously. During this action, the excess water should drain out through the hole. Shake the container until the hairball turns into a ball. Take out the bead and check its density, it should be firm so that it does not wrinkle when worn. If it's not tight enough, roll the ball between your palms. This is a “wet” way of felting beads

Step 2

You can do this in a different, but similar way. Moisten the fluffed wool with soapy water and begin to form a ball out of it, rolling between your palms, but do not make it too dense. Dip a ball of a different color in the solution and attach it to the first. Now roll the ball to a high density. When the bead is ready, rinse it under a stream of hot water, while continuing to roll it with your palms. Leave your bead to dry

Step 3

Keep in mind that after rolling, the wool will shrink approximately 1, 5 - 2 times, so take the material with a margin. To make the beads the same size, cut off the required amount of wool in advance. Do not use coarse material, otherwise the beads will turn out to be "prickly". The balls created with different colored wool are very beautiful and unique. They can be decorated with beads, this will make the beads even more original

Step 4

You can create beads "dry". But this requires special needles that have serifs. With the help of them, the wool is intertwined and entangled, forming a felt. The density of the ball depends on the number of injections made with the needle. The more times the bead has been pierced, the harder it becomes. It is better to have needles of different thicknesses to make balls of different sizes and densities. The "dry" method of rolling the beads takes longer than the "wet" method.
