Braided beads look much more beautiful than usual. Therefore, jewelry made of them will attract more attention than a string of monophonic beads. It can take a whole evening to create one such element, but the result is worth it.

It is necessary

  • - beads of different colors;
  • - strong thread (lavsan, nylon, monofilament);
  • - bead;
  • - a thin beaded needle;
  • - album sheet and colored pencils.

Instructions

Step 1

For work, do not use beads with your own design or original texture. Firstly, they are more expensive, and secondly, after the end of the work of this structure will not be seen. Also pay attention to the absence of corners and edges. For the rest, the shape of the bead does not matter much: it can be spherical, elongated, or whatever.

Step 2

Before starting weaving, choose a technique and decide on a pattern. Sketch it on paper. If drawing is paramount, choose technique second. The most popular options in this work are mosaic weaving, "cross". The first technique, as a rule, is used to create a dense pattern, the second is more delicate and a base bead is visible in the gaps between the beads.

Step 3

Cut the thread, thread it into the needle. Secure the bead by threading it twice. The end of the thread behind the bead should be 10-15 cm long. The total length of the thread is up to 60 cm. With a longer length, the thread will get tangled and tied into knots.

Step 4

Cast on the first row of beads in accordance with the drawing scheme. In the mosaic technique, as a rule, there are about five beads, depending on the size of the beads and the bead itself. Secure the row by passing through the first bead.

Step 5

Cast on the first bead of the second row, go through the first row, as if weaving a plait using a mosaic technique. Then two beads and again through the bottom of the first row of beads.

Step 6

In each next row, the number of beads in a row increases so that the braid fully matches the shape of the bead. To do this, cast two beads instead of one for each step. You can go another way: use larger beads.

Step 7

When you reach the middle of the beads, start decreasing the number of beads in a row. When you reach the end, hide the ends of the threads in the beads.
