short biography
On June 22, 1947, a future movie star was born in the family of Vladimir Viktorovich Varley and Ariadna Sergeevna Varley in Constanta (Kingdom of Romania). And after a while her parent, who was working as a sea captain at that time, was sent to Murmansk, where he went with the whole family.
On the paternal side, Natalya Varley has Welsh roots, to which she owes her bright appearance. The family legend of the movie star says that her ancestor, who worked as a jockey, arrived in Russia from Wales in the 19th century with his industrialist owner. Since the trip was long-term, he decided to start a family in our country.
But not only paternal blood brought a unique piquancy to the “pedigree cocktail”. On the maternal side, there were also Europeans. After all, Ariadna Sergeevna is a direct descendant of a French engineer named Barbot de Marni. In addition to Natalia, her younger sister Irina was also brought up in the family, who later began to become involved in acting at an amateur level.
Since childhood, Natalia has shown remarkable artistic abilities. Already at the age of 4, she was good at drawing and writing poetry. And when the parents were convinced that the adored child had excellent vocal abilities, they immediately arranged her in a music school.
Interestingly, after the family arrived in Moscow, the girl, having seen the announcement of the recruitment of a group of participants of her age in the circus, secretly signed up there from her parents. The idea of becoming a circus actress fascinated Natalia so much that after graduating from the 8th grade of high school, she, without hesitation, entered the capital's school of circus and pop art, where she subsequently received an education in the field of balancing act.
Natalia Varley's professional career began at the country's main circus, located on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. There she began performing with the famous clown L. Yengibarov, who helped her become a film actress. The cinematic career of the miniature circus artist, whose height is only 150 cm, began after she caught the eye of director G. Jungvald-Khilkevich during her performance. And her debut film work was a cameo role in the comedy film "The Rainbow Formula" (1966).
Personal life
Natalya Varley made her first attempt to create a family at the age of 20. Her chosen one then became director Nikolai Burlyaev. Despite the fact that the young girl was strenuously discouraged from wanting to connect her life with this man by Mikhail Zadornov, and Leonid Filatov, and Vladimir Kochan, she showed extraordinary persistence and made her debut trip to the registry office. However, very soon the actress became disillusioned with her wife and very quickly broke off all relations with him.
The second time Natalya Varley became a wife in 1971, when she married classmate Vladimir Tikhonov. However, the son of popular actors V. Tikhonov and N. Mordyukova could not become a reliable family partner for her. The spouse's regular alcohol abuse and the accompanying quarrels a few months later resulted in divorce. Moreover, during the registration of the procedure, the actress realized that she was pregnant. Thus, the son Vasily, born in 1972, began to be brought up in an incomplete family.
Natalia gave birth to her second child in 1985. Son Alexander, according to the actress, owes his birth to a short-term romantic relationship between his mother and his Uzbek colleague in the creative workshop Ulmas Alikhodjaev, which took place during the filming of the film project "Fire Roads". Subsequently, both sons of the famous artist linked their professional life with cinema, becoming directors.
And the third and last marriage of Natalia Varley to date was associated with a man who was much younger than her and was engaged in entrepreneurship in the construction industry. But even a wedding in an Orthodox church could not save these family relationships, and they soon fell apart.
The Honored Artist of the RSFSR brightens up her loneliness at home in the company of numerous cats, of which at one time she had about twenty pieces. An expert in the field of understanding the habits of four-legged pets even wrote an informative book about their maintenance and upbringing.
