Step 1
Open the official website of the online game in your browser. Read the rules. Click on the large Register button to the right of the latest news rollout. Enter your e-mail in the appropriate field, come up with a login and type a password that you will use to log in to the game. Click "Register".
Step 2
Download and install Mail.ru Game Center. After that, download the game client from the "Lord of the Rings" game sites, for this click on the yellow "Download" inscription at the top. When the download is complete, click "Install" and use the "Run" button after successfully installing the client. Enter the game using the password and login specified during registration.
Step 3
Choose the world of Fornost or Mirkwood, which are also the game's servers. Your character will constantly be in this world, divided into different areas, and will not be able to move to another world. The name of the world you selected will be highlighted. Click the "Play" button if you are sure of your choice.
Step 4
Review the user agreement that appears on the screen and accept it to start playing. After starting, create a character. You can create in each world up to five characters of different races and classes and expand the number of available slots for characters by purchasing the "Mines of Moria" add-on. To make a character, click on the "New character" button.
Step 5
Determine the gender and race of your gaming alter ego, change your physique, hairstyle, eye color and shape, as well as the shape of your nose and mouth. If you do not want to customize the character, click "Free choice" and the computer will suggest you the appearance of the hero. If you want to fix your appearance during the game, find an NPC (merchant) with whom you can change the hairstyle and hair color.
Step 6
Give your hero a name and enter it in the special field. Observe naming rules that differ for each race. Read about the origin of your race character. Click on the "In Middle-earth" button to start playing as the character you created.
