One of the symbols of origami art is paper cranes. The popularity of this model has a downside. These birds have already become familiar and tired. If you want to fold something less common but equally beautiful, make a paper dove.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a square piece of paper. Mentally draw a diagonal from the bottom right corner to the top left corner. Fold the paper along this line, lifting the bottom corner up to the left. From the top of the resulting triangle, draw a line in the middle of the opposite side (it should be perpendicular). Bend the triangle along this line, connecting the bottom left corner to the top right corner.

Step 2

There should be a triangle in front of you, the top of which is directed downward. Divide its base, i.e. the side that turned out to be above, into three equal parts. Place a dot on the border of the first and second parts on the left. Draw a ray from the vertex to this point. Take the top layer of paper and fold the right side of the triangle along the marked line. Fold the bottom layer in the same way. Flip the resulting shape. There will be two triangles in front of you, the base of the larger one is at the bottom.

Step 3

Fold the top corner of the small triangle down, then straighten it. Along the marked lines, tuck the paper inward, between the two layers. The peeking corner of the tucked-in part forms the bird's beak. Fold the tail in the same way at the opposite corner of the shape.

Step 4

From the lower left corner of the figure, set aside 2 centimeters up and to the right. Connect these points with a line. Bend the corner over it. Do the same operation on the back of the craft. On each side, fold this outlined corner inward, between the wing and the neck of the pigeon. From the marked point on the underside of the shape, draw a perpendicular up the wing. Pull the wing down, feed the paper along the marked line. Repeat this step on the second wing.

Step 5

If you want the figurine to be stable, spread its base to the sides and spread its tail with your finger.
