Remaking old things is fun creative work. For example, you can turn an old, well-worn suitcase into a spectacular accessory or stylish piece of furniture. To create armchairs, chairs, use open suitcases. Strengthen the rigid seat base to the perimeter of the suitcase, cover it with bulky filler, such as foam rubber and upholstery fabric. Then set it on the legs - low or high as you like.
Step 2
Soft, bright do-it-yourself rugs made of old things will add warmth and comfort to the house. For work you will need: filler - synthetic winterizer or holofiber, fabric for lining and finishing, old dresses, skirts, men's shirts. For a rug measuring 110x60 cm, you will need 16 squares with sides of 17.5 cm of various colors and the same number of squares with sides of 12.5 cm - this will be the inner side. Fold the large and small squares together, tuck the corners and sew the purse. Repeat this operation with all the shreds, then fill the bags with filler, sew up the hole and join together.
Step 3
Take the lining fabric and sew the frill to it. Fold the balls and lining fabric right sides in and sew on the sewing machine, leaving 15-20 cm to turn inside out. Turn out the rug, sew the hole by hand.
