The beaded headband looks like a real work of art. You can take an old bezel, leather, velvet as a basis. From the wire, you will create a new item that looks brilliant.
From a plastic base
If you have an old plastic headband, don't throw it away. Very soon it will turn into an amazing little thing that you will be proud of. If on its surface you can see the remnants of the former luxury in the form of pebbles, braids, remove them. The surface must be flat.
Take non-woven fabric, attach a rim to its surface, outline. It is necessary to capture the contours of the entire surface. To do this, first attach the left edge, then slowly begin to roll the base to the middle and right edge. All this time, the pen in your hands should outline the contours. Do not take a ballpoint for these purposes, it will leave traces that light beads cannot hide. A silver gel pen is perfect. Cut out, leaving a 2 mm allowance at all edges.
Fold 5 pieces of non-woven fabric with the glue side to the non-glue side. Lay the base you just cut on top. Pin, cut these pieces according to the given markings. Attach this base to a piece of velvet and cut it out. You will need one more piece - made of leather. It should be 2 mm more velvet. Using an iron, glue the non-woven blanks to each other, and then the top with velvet, putting a double layer of gauze or a thin cloth on it, so as not to spoil the delicate surface of the fabric.
It's time to paint the headband with beads. Take a needle with a thin eye, thread to match. String one bead on the needle, sew it to the velvet surface. Then take the next crystal, fix it in the same way. Do not forget to leave 2 mm of the edges not covered with beads.
When the whole velvet ribbon is embroidered, coat its back (non-woven) side with Crystal glue, glue it to the front side of the plastic rim. On the other side of the bezel, glue the leather blank.
It remains to drape the edges. To do this, take a needle and thread. To avoid seeing the knot, guide the tip of the needle between the leather and non-woven blanks, sticking into the latter. Next, the end of the needle should go through the outermost bead. Tighten the thread slightly. String on a new bead and also pierce the edge of the non-woven with a needle. Sew the entire headband in the same way. You can try it on.
Wire base
To make a tiara headband, take a piece of strong wire, attach it to your head, bend it, cut the headband to the desired size. In the same way, measure out 2 more exactly such blanks. Put them together. Cut 6 pieces of thin wire 12 cm long. String the beads on them, leaving 2 cm uncovered on each edge. Spread evenly and attach to three main pieces.
To do this, take the first wire with strung beads, bend it in half. Pass its left edge over the first and third workpieces, putting it behind the second, which is in the middle. Skip the second edge of the wire with beads from behind the first and third, in front of the middle blank. Attach all 6 strands in the same way (staggered). In the middle, fasten a thin wire with strung beads, the length of which is 15 cm. You have a beaded rim in the form of a tiara.
