Need to decorate the table for Halloween urgently? Here's a simple little craft to keep you entertained and in the mood!

Getting Ready for Halloween: Disposable Plate Bat
Getting Ready for Halloween: Disposable Plate Bat
  • several paper disposable plates (preferably black, but any color will do),
  • glue,
  • scissors,
  • ready-made eyes for toys on an adhesive basis (usually they are sold in stores selling goods for creativity),
  • black paint (optional),
  • pencil,
  • sheet of white paper.

1. If you want your paper bats to be black, pre-paint the disposable plates.

2. Bend one disposable plate in half, cutting the side with scissors (see photo below), the second cut in half. The first plate will be the body of the animal, the second will be the wings.

3. Give the mouse wings a recognizable shape by cutting out three semicircles instead of a straight line. To make the semicircles even, take a small cup and, applying it to the edge of the plate as a template, draw parts of the circles with a pencil.

4. Glue the finished wings into the slits on the sides of the torso.

plastic disposable plates are also suitable for creating bats, however, to attach wings to such a mouse, you should take a stapler instead of glue.

5. Glue the eyes on the bat's face.

6. Cut out a crescent-shaped mouth and two fangs (triangles) out of white paper. Glue them under the eyes.

The craft is ready! Make several of these mice and place them on the table, windowsills. Under the action of the air flow, they will sway, creating a festive mood.
