Often, after work, knitters have a skein of thread, from which nothing can be knitted, because it is too small. However, it is a pity to throw away the rest of the threads. I propose to carve out a little time during the day and make a very interesting and useful craft from the remaining threads - a vase. Such a product will perfectly fit into any interior and will add a unique touch to it.

It is necessary

  • - vase or bowl;
  • - threads;
  • - polyethylene;
  • - PVA glue.

Instructions

Step 1

Before you start making thread crafts, you need to find a base for which any vase or bowl is suitable. Once you've found a suitable container, wrap it in a plastic bag. This must be done in order not to spoil the base, because you have to work with glue.

Step 2

Pour the glue into a separate bowl. Using a brush, apply a generous layer of glue to the base tightly wrapped in a plastic bag. After this procedure, moisten small pieces of thread in the remaining glue. Please note that the threads must be well saturated. By the way, if you wish, you can replace PVA glue with diluted starch.

Step 3

Start wrapping the base greased with glue with soaked threads in random order. The density of the base winding depends only on what kind of vase you want to end up with.

Step 4

Having finished wrapping the base with thread, give the future vase time to dry completely. If you want to speed up this process, you can use a hairdryer.

Step 5

After the product is completely dry, carefully remove it from the base. It remains only to remove the plastic bag from the craft. A vase of threads is ready! It is ideal for fruit or other small items.
