Balls made of threads look impressive. With the help of such spider balls, you can decorate the interior, for example, make a lamp or a night light. By connecting several of these balls together, you can make a wide variety of toys: a chicken, a parrot, a fish or a snowman. Or maybe it will be a wonderful decoration for the Christmas tree.
Instructions
Take a jar of glue and poke a hole in it with a thick needle, into which the threads should already be threaded. Make the hole in such a way that when pulling through it, the threads are well saturated with glue. You can use threads of the same or different colors.
If you think this method is too time consuming, try another one. Take a spool of thread and throw it into the silicate glue. Leave them there for about half an hour, let the threads soak well with the sticky mass.
Wrap the glue-soaked thread around the balloon in a crisscross pattern, leaving gaps between the threads. In the event that you cannot wrap the ball with a thread soaked in glue, you can also wrap it with dry thread, and then soak it with a sponge or brush.
Instead of silicate glue, you can use paste, as our grandmothers did. To do this, take 3 teaspoons of starch in a glass of water, mix the mixture thoroughly. The water should be cold. Bring the starch and water mixture to a boil. The paste is ready.
Leave the ball wrapped in threads to dry for a day or two. The structure must dry very well. The ball of thread should become strong and firm. Then untie the neck of the balloon and, when deflated, gently pull it out. Cut off any protruding threads. If the balloon does not come off well from the threads, gently push it with a pencil through the holes in the plexus of the thread.
Decorate a decorative ball of thread with sparkles, sequins, beads, smearing some areas with PVA glue. Or it can be embroidery, tassels from yarn or crocheted, flowers and fruits. Your imagination will tell you.
