It is necessary
- - glassware made of transparent glass;
- - special gel for candles (gel wax);
- - a wick that keeps its shape;
- - elements for candle decoration;
- - iron utensils for melting the gel.
Instructions
Step 1
Take glassware with a diameter of more than 5 cm. If you take a dish with a smaller diameter, then when using a candle, it may not withstand and burst from overheating. The selected container should be well washed and wiped so that there are no streaks.
Step 2
Take a reinforced wick that holds its shape well. Fix one edge of it on a pencil and place it on the container of the future candle. The second edge of the wick should reach the bottom of the dish and be exactly in the middle.
Step 3
Depending on your taste, put various decorative items on the bottom of the candle container, for example: beads, sea stones and shells, various figurines, decorative sand or flowers. It is important that all decorative elements are non-flammable and for safety reasons do not place them too close to the wick. The closer the decorative elements are to the glass side of the container, the better they will be seen through it.
Step 4
Heat the gel wax in an iron bowl. It is necessary to monitor its temperature and not let it boil. After the wax has melted, carefully pour it into a glass container. We try to pour slowly so that the air can escape and no bubbles form.
Step 5
We cut off the wick, leaving a free edge so that it is as easy as possible to light it. We leave the candle for a day, after which it is ready for use.
