The main element of forging any product is hardening. During this processing, the steel acquires maximum hardness. The first stage of hardening is heating to a high temperature and rapid cooling. The cooling method is selected depending on the steel grade.
Step 3
In the process of forging, weapons or tools are hardened, that is, they are quickly cooled, only its working part. The cooled part is cleaned on a stone.
