Snowflakes of a wide variety of shapes can be made from beads, and this work is so simple that even a child can handle it. And to make them look like real ones, use beads of different sizes and bugles for weaving.
It is necessary
- - 66 pcs. round beads No. 10 white;
- - 24 white beads with a diameter of 4 mm;
- - 6 beads of white color with a diameter of 7 mm;
- - 24 pcs. glass beads of white color 12 mm long;
- - auxiliary bead in contrasting color;
- - thin wire for beading of a silvery shade;
- - wire cutters.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a piece of wire one meter long. String an auxiliary bead on one end (it will serve as a stop for the beads when weaving), thread the same end of the wire through it one more time and tighten.
Step 2
Next, weave with different beads, stringing them in the following order. Cast on the wire 1 tube of bugle, 1 bead, 1 bead with a diameter of 4 mm, again 1 bead, 1 bead of a larger size, then again 1 bugle, 1 bead, 1 small bead, 1 bead, 1 tube of bugle and 3 beads. Having passed the 3 end pieces, pull the wire in the opposite direction through the glass beads. Pull the wire tightly.
Step 3
String 1 bead on the wire, then 1 bead 4 mm in diameter, again 1 bead and 1 bugle. Pass the wire through the large bead, and then through the bead, the small bead, the second bead, and the bugle tube. This will create the first "ray" of the snowflake.
Step 4
To make the second "ray", string the beads on the wire in the following order: 1 bugle, 1 bead, 1 bead, again 1 bead, 1 larger bead, 1 bugle tube, 1 bead, 1 small bead, 1 bead, 1 bugle tube and 3 beads. Pass the end of the wire through the glass beads in the opposite direction and pull.
Step 5
To finish the weaving of the second "ray", string 1 bead, 1 small bead, again 1 bead and 1 bugle on the wire. Pass the tip of the wire through the bugle at the beginning of the first "ray" of the future snowflake and pull the thread tightly.
Step 6
In the same way, make 6 "rays" of the snowflake. Remove the contrasting color auxiliary bead. Pull the end of the wire through the last tube of the glass beads. Pull the wire tightly and twist the ends, making 3-4 turns. Carefully cut off the excess. Spread out the snowflake with your hands, giving it a symmetrical shape.
