In school years, everyone tried to shoot toy bullets from homemade pistols and crossbows, and if you decide to remember your childhood, you do not need to buy toys in the store - you can make a crossbow with your own hands, and use improvised means as materials for it: pens, pencils, etc. money rubber bands.

It is necessary

  • - four unsharpened new pencils;
  • - old plastic handle;
  • - seven rubber bands for money;
  • - transparent tape.

Instructions

Step 1

So, to make a crossbow, you need four unsharpened new pencils, an old plastic pen, seven rubber bands for money, and clear tape. Use rubber bands to hold the pencils together in pairs, so that you have two bundles of two pencils each.

Step 2

The pencils in the bundles should be tightly pulled together and should not fall out of the elastic. Now place one pair of pencils exactly perpendicular to the second pair, forming a T-shape and at the junction, fix the shape with an elastic band.

Step 3

Then take a ballpoint pen and disassemble it. You do not need caps and tips from the pen - set them aside, leaving only the pen body with a through hole and the stem. Cut two strips of tape and glue the body from the handle to the longitudinal part of the T-shaped blank of the future crossbow.

Step 4

Secure the upper end of the body with tape at the intersection of the parts, and the lower end at the end of the longitudinal part. Now take two sturdy money bands and secure them in the cross section of the T-shaped structure on both sides, inserting the rubber band between two pencils, tightly pulled together.

Step 5

Pull the double ends of each elastic band together and join them together with tape, glued in several layers, to create a single bowstring for the crossbow. If you are not sure about the strength of the tape, you can connect the ends of the elastic bands with a strong nylon rope or thread. Your crossbow is ready - now it is enough to pull the bowstring and insert an arrow into the hole in the body, which is a good fit for the rod from the handle.
