In order to fill an apartment with a pleasant aroma exuded by coffee beans, it is not at all necessary to lay them out in the corners of the rooms or pour them into vases. Arabica beans can be used to make a beautiful tree of happiness, which can become not only an original thing in the interior, but also a wonderful gift to family and friends.

It is necessary

  • - roasted coffee beans 100 g

  • - sand, plaster or cement
  • - branch or stick 20 cm long, 2 cm thick

Instructions

Step 1

Very carefully cut a hole in the plastic ball with scissors, where the stick will later be inserted - the "trunk" of the future coffee tree.

Step 2

Take a whitewash brush and completely disassemble it, first removing the ropes from it. You can simply stretch out a few strands of bast.

Step 3

At one end of the twig or stick, fix the thread of the bast with an elastic band for money. Cover the branch itself with universal glue and glue the spirally winding thread onto the tree trunk. Fix the thread from the other end of the barrel with a money rubber band. Put the ball on the barrel. This is the future crown of our tree of happiness.

Step 4

In order, firstly, to accelerate, and secondly to facilitate pasting the ball with coffee beans, you should coat the plastic ball with universal glue and glue it over with brown threads. You can glue the ball over with the remaining sponge, but working with threads is much easier.

Step 5

Now you can start gluing the first layer of coffee beans onto the thread-wrapped ball. You need to glue on a transparent super-glue. Coffee beans are glued in different ways: some with a furrow upwards, others, on the contrary, downwards. Apply super glue to each grain separately. This work is painstaking, and the glue has a pungent chemical smell, and therefore you need to do the craft in a ventilated room, with the window open. Even transparent glue leaves white marks on brown grains, and therefore must be worked very carefully. The glue can be replaced with liquid nails or a glue gun.

Step 6

A ball will peep through one layer of grains, so it will not be enough. Be sure to glue the ball with a second layer. In order to completely avoid the "peeping" of the ball through the crown, it can be pre-painted with spray paint, but the paint will take at least a day to dry.

Step 7

After the glue has dried, you can insert the trunk into the crown. The branch must be inserted into the ball until it stops. Here is our tree and ready. You need to put it in a pot. Fasten the wire to the base of the trunk, insert the tree into the pot and pour a little foam. Pour the plaster of Paris diluted in water over the pot and let it dry. You need to hide the plaster with decorative elements. Optionally, you can decorate the tree with ribbons.
