Very soon the New Year's commotion with parties, feasts and gifts will begin. Gifts sometimes consume a significant amount from the budget. But you can make a gift with your own hands without spending a lot of money. An original, lovingly made present will delight the recipient no less than another trinket from the store, and will allow you to relax at handicrafts, reveal your creativity and plunge into the New Year's mood a little earlier.

- - polyurethane foam
- - thin cardboard or a sheet of paper

- - black and any metallic paints (bronze, silver, copper, gold)
- - glue "Moment-Kristall" or hot gun

- - thick wire
- - small Christmas ball
- - small plastic pot
- - gypsum
- - acrylic lacquer
Instructions
Step 1
Make a cone bag out of a piece of cardboard. Secure the edges tightly with tape. Fill a bag with polyurethane foam and leave it on for a couple of days until all the foam has completely hardened. Once the foam is firm, use a sharp knife to cut the bottom of the cone to keep it straight. Cardboard or paper can now be removed.
Step 2
Glue any rubbish on the foam cone using Moment-Kristall glue or a hot gun in any order. These can be various screws, wheels, chains, beads, parts of broken toys, lids, coins, old chess. Let your imagination fly! If you want to make a curved top of the Christmas tree, as in the photo, then make a frame of thick wire, give the desired shape, fix it on the top and add volume using papier-mâché. Do not forget to make a loop at the end where you attach the Christmas tree toy. To make a trunk, insert a thick branch into the base of the cone, secure it with glue and plant your tree in a pot of plaster. But you can just leave the cone. It will look no worse.
Step 3
Paint the resulting structure with black spray paint or just black acrylic paint. Try to paint over all places and cracks. The tree should be completely black. Let it dry thoroughly.
Step 4
Apply a small amount of metallic paint to the sponge and lightly slap and grease the black tree. The sponge must be dry. And there should be very little paint on it. The black herringbone will begin to transform and take on a metallic design. Dry this coat of paint and coat the iron tree with a coat of acrylic spray can. That's all! The original tree of unnecessary things is ready.
