A paper-folded cap can decorate your doll's hairstyle, complementing her costume, and you can also present your child with an unusual carnival headdress at any time by folding a beautiful and bright cap out of paper in a real scale. Such a cap can be used both in the Petrushka costume and in the costume of a magician and wizard at children's parties and carnivals.

Step 1
The hood can be folded in two ways, each of which is not too difficult to learn. Take a piece of paper and fold it diagonally. Divide the resulting triangle into three equal parts and bend the side parts to the central vertical line. Bend the corners protruding at the bottom up and fix. Such a cap is suitable for a finger puppet for the theater, especially if you paint it with bright colors.
Step 2
You can also fold in a short time and a large cap suitable for a carnival costume. To do this, take a large triangle made of thick paper or cardboard, and use scissors to round its base.
Step 3
The length of the base of the triangle should roughly equal the circumference of your head - from time to time try on the cap, connecting the edges of the triangle into a cone to check if it is the right size for you.
Step 4
Before cutting out the triangle, draw its outlines with a pencil on the seamy side of the cardboard so as not to be mistaken. When making the pattern, take into account a 1 cm glue allowance on the left and right sides of the triangle.
Step 5
Cut the teeth on one side with scissors for better gluing.
Step 6
After gluing the cap, take care of its decor - the cap can be covered with a cloth on which appliques, stars and beads will be sewn, or you can paint the cardboard and glue foil, pictures and specially made patterns on it. The top of the cap can be decorated with a pompom or star.
