For hunting or airsoft, a camouflage coat is useful for a hunter or a sniper. These clothes allow you to almost completely blend in with the terrain, making you almost invisible. Many variations of such clothes are sold in stores, but, as often happens, what is needed is not. You have to do everything yourself so that the sewn clothes meet your individual requirements.

It is necessary

  • - a raincoat tent or army uniform is 1-2 sizes larger;
  • - fishnet;
  • - fabric elastic;
  • - linen threads;
  • - ribbons and pieces of burlap.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, decide what kind of camouflage you need: in the form of a suit or a cape. In case you want a camouflage suit, buy a uniform made of thick fabric 1-2 sizes larger than yours and sew a hood to it. If you prefer a camouflage cape, then a raincoat tent.

Step 2

At the places of camouflage (back, sides, hood, shoulders, outer part of the arms, back and side parts of the legs, and in the version of the raincoat - the entire outer surface), a nylon fishing net is sewn with a cell of about 3 cm. The net is sewn with nylon thread (to avoid chafing) around the perimeter and in the middle in several places. In places of disguise, you need to sew the required amount of elastic bands for attaching leaves, twigs, etc.

Step 3

Threads, ribbons and pieces of burlap about 40 cm long. Color with dyes for natural fabrics in mainly gray, brown, green and their mixtures. The color and tone of the suit is selected individually (if autumn - more yellow and brown shades, if summer - more green, etc.)

Step 4

Weave the threads into the cells of the sewn net (fold the threads in half, pass the resulting loop under the cell and the rest of the tail of the threads passes through this loop, after which the loop is simply tightened). You don't need to weave more than four threads into one cell. Weaving is carried out from the bottom of the camouflage to the top. You can weave threads of the same color into one cell, or you can combine threads of different colors. Weave the threads through 1-2 cells, otherwise the camouflage coat will be too thick.

Step 5

Now sew dyed pieces or strips of fabric or burlap onto the camouflage gown. In the area of the shoulders, back and back (or evenly over the entire surface of the raincoat), large pieces of fabric are sewn; on the sides, hood and outside of the arms - smaller pieces. Small pieces of fabric are sewn onto the front of the jacket and pants (so as not to cling when crawling).
