When a loop comes off on your favorite fur coat, the question arises - what to do? Carrying it in the atelier because of such a trifle is stupid, you can try to sew on the loop yourself. A certain amount of patience and skill will help you playfully cope with this task.

Instructions
Step 1
If your fur coat initially did not have a loop, or it came off while wearing, you can sew it on yourself. In order to sew a loop to a fur coat, you will need sewing supplies and a little diligence. A fur coat is a rather weighty piece of outerwear. When sewing on a loop, remember that the main thing in this business is strength. Your loop should be strong and last at least one season.
Step 2
Take a strong silk cord, cut 3-4 cm from it. The cut piece is your future loop. Carefully singe both ends with a match to prevent the lace from unraveling during the sewing process.
Step 3
Now take the fur coat, find the fold line connecting the collar and the neck of the fur coat. Then find the center of the collar. To do this, use a sewing centimeter or simply connect the opposite ends of the collar - the fold will be the middle. You must sew a loop on the inside between the collar and the neck of the fur coat in the center of the collar (fig. 1). When you find a suitable place, pin pins on it to accurately mark the place of the future loop.
Step 4
Now you can sew a loop on the fur coat. The distance from one edge of the buttonhole to the other should be 2, 5-3 cm. You can sew the buttonhole in two ways, which are shown in Figures 2 and 3. If you have chosen a neater second method, then you need to slightly open the seam in the places where the buttonhole is sewn, connecting collar and fur coat.
Sew the loop securely, use a thimble to avoid pricking your fingers. The number of stitches is from 10 to 20 stitches on each side. Sew on the buttonhole by grabbing the collar of the fur coat, not just the lining! A buttonhole sewn only to the lining will inevitably come off and leave holes in the fabric! When sewing on a buttonhole, do not sew through, otherwise you will ruin the fur from the outside.
Step 5
Now you can crochet the loop or decorate it in any other way.
