Step 1
First, choose the right material for sewing. If you are a stately girl, then short-haired fur is better for you.
Step 2
Build a pattern or take any ready-made pattern for outerwear. It is advisable to choose a simple model, with fewer details, without darts at the waist and chest.
Step 3
Measure the reshaped pattern along the line of the hips and chest. The increase should be at least 14 cm at the hips and 18 cm at the chest.
Step 4
An important step is choosing the volume and length of the coat at the hip level. Thin women can choose any volume, and stately, it is desirable to make a semi-fit. The length of the fur coat should never end at the widest point of the hips - either above or below this place.
Step 5
Cut the fur into one layer. Those details of the pattern that are given with a fold - be sure to complete. Ideally, the following pattern details should be present: 2 sleeves, 2 shelf details and 2 hood details. Be aware of the direction of the pile when cutting. If it is directed in one direction, then all the parts should be laid out in one direction - this is important. It is better to cut with a blade. You can also use scissors. However, carefully trim the fabric so as not to damage the pile.
Step 6
Sweep away any cut out faux fur, then machine sew.
Step 7
Open the details of the lining. Connect them together: grind off the middle seam of the sleeve, shoulder seams and side seams. Sew in the sleeve to the armhole.
Step 8
Check that the length of the fur part and the lining on the bottom match. Sew the lining and body together. Sew in a zipper or sew on buttonholes. That's all, the faux fur coat is ready. A beautiful view is guaranteed for you this winter!
