You can learn all the tricks of skateboarding at home using a fingerboard. This is the same skate, only reduced to 10 centimeters. And it was invented by a skateboarder who, due to the incessant rain, could not train. Oddly enough, the device of the fingerboard completely copies the skate: there are suspensions with shock absorbers and stiffness regulation, and a skin, only plastic wheels. However, this does not interfere with performing all skate tricks on it.
Instructions
Step 1
To learn how to operate a fingerboard, you first need to learn how to stand on it. The toes are placed on the board in the same way as the feet on a regular skate. When your hand has become accustomed to the board, try to ride it, controlling the board with only your middle and forefinger.
Step 2
The easiest trick is Ollie's jump. He is the basis of many tricks. Ollie is a jump with the board, i.e. during the jump, your fingers should remain on it, with the help of this trick you can later jump onto various surfaces, do flips and slides. Place your middle finger on the tail (tail) of the board and your index finger over the front suspension of your fingerboard, although the position of your index finger may vary slightly depending on your stance.
Flick (hard pressure) with your middle finger on the tail of the board and "pull" the board with your index finger so that the board reaches behind your finger.
In flight, align the board parallel to the surface it should land on. During landing, your fingers should be above the suspension bolts.
According to fingerboarders, this trick can take anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks to master.
Step 3
Gradually, the tricks can be complicated, move on to flips and slides. The most common flip is the Kickflip. It can be learned both on the go and without overclocking. The position of the fingers is no different from Ollie, only the index must be placed closer to the edge of the finger.
Use your middle finger to click like Ollie. When taking off, twist the finger downward with a downward movement of your index finger. You can also do this by simply bending your index finger.
When the board has already scrolled ¾, start catching the board with your fingers and land.
Step 4
Slides and grinds are such a category of tricks when they are all performed on edges or railings. The simplest grind is 50-50, in which both pendants slide along the edge.
When approaching the edge, at a distance of 3 centimeters before it, make Ollie and land the finger on the edge so that the bolts of both suspensions are on the edge, and the board itself is parallel to it. In this case, the weight between the suspensions must be evenly distributed.
Slide parallel to the face and jump off the face in two ways. The most common is to raise the front suspension, rotate the finger about 30 degrees from the edge, and then use two fingers to pull the board forward without using any force.
The second method is used only in cases when you have already reached the end of the edge. It is performed at speed: when the edge ends, do not change the position of the board, keep it parallel to the ground.
