Battles between players exist not only in Minecraft, but also in many other games and are called pvp (player versus player). They have different purposes. Somewhere, thanks to this option, you get the opportunity to hone your fighting skills and gain some experience, or even earn some achievements or rewards. In other games, this will be a way for you to profit by taking virtual property from the gamer you killed. For Minecraft, all of the above goals are relevant.

If you are interested in this idea, and you strive to participate in pvp, create your own server where fights between participants will be allowed. To do this, download the installer from the official Minecraft website, make a folder for it on your computer and run the downloaded file directly there. When the server console opens, wait until a new world is generated and Done appears. Exit this window by typing the stop command beforehand.

After registering on a suitable game resource, find a free area of the map and lock it up.
