Although the popular Minecraft can hardly be called a "runner-shooter", one of the most interesting aspects of this game is considered by many gamers to be battles - not only with various mobs, but also among themselves. Such battles are called pvp, and many players believe that this is a great way not only to test their combat skills, but, if successful, profit from rare resources from someone else's inventory.

Why are pvp dangerous?

Such an ambiguous aspect of "minecraft" life as pvp (player versus player) has an unpleasant downside for everyone. Yes, you can see in this a great way to quickly and without having to go down into the mine to acquire something valuable and suitable for crafting or for performing other tasks in the gameplay, but in case of an unsuccessful outcome, you will have to lose everything you had with you.

It is unlikely that the opponent will calmly wait until the player, after death, returns from the respawn and picks up his belongings. Rather, he will hasten to appropriate them himself and hide in an unknown direction until the former owner of these things showed up. By the way, this is exactly the technique used by griefers - virtual game scammers who have become a serious problem for visitors to Minecraft multiplayer resources.

Such trolls and bandits in one person often provoke other gamers into a duel - by verbal abuse or specific actions - and create the appearance that they are poorly armed. However, then, when the battle has already begun, they take out an enchanted diamond sword and can easily finish off their counterpart. However, they often attack a distracted gamer simply without warning, killing him in order to take possession of his belongings from the inventory.

The above, as well as other reasons, cause a persistent dislike of pvp among many players. However, even those who are calm about the battles between gamers sometimes want to take a break in this regard. They want, for example, to calmly engage in the construction of the necessary buildings or go to the extraction of resources - without fear that someone will sneak up behind and kill you meanly.

Ways to disable pvp

However, often here the user of the game resource Minecraft will have an unpleasant surprise. It turns out that pvp cannot be disabled on the server where it is currently located. It is worth anticipating such situations in advance and registering only on those resources where battles between players are not an obligatory element. To do this, you should carefully study the description of the servers and the user agreement for them (if any).

In addition, it is not a sin to ask if the WorldGuard plugin is installed on this resource, which allows you to privatize individual items and parts of the map. However, if such actions succeed, then most likely it has been installed. The player should lock his region (and cover as much of the territory as possible) - the one where his dwelling is located.

To do this, picking up an ax from a tree (or calling it with the // wand command), you need to mark a point in one of the upper corners with the left mouse button, and with the right mouse button - in the lower diametral - in your area. Then you need to enter / region claim into the chat and write the name invented for the region. Now it is sealed, and the owner gets the opportunity to place special markers on it - flags.

Such marks determine the peculiarities of the existence of those who will enter this territory. Among the rules for it, you can also register a ban on pvp. It is only important to first inquire whether everyone registered on this server - or exclusively owners of a VIP or Gold account - is given the privilege to set flags on pvp. On some game resources, there are restrictions in this regard.

If there are no obstacles here, then you need to press the tilde (~), write the / region flag command in the chat, and after it, separated by spaces (but without any other symbols), insert the name of your region and the phrase pvp deny. At the same moment, player fights will be banned here. Even if someone attacks another in a given territory with a sword, he will not be able to inflict damage and will not take away precious hearts of health.

If you wish, you can create your own server and prescribe a ban on pvp in its settings. To do this, after opening the installation file for the game resource and completing the generation of the world, go to the server.properties document and set the value false in front of the pvp parameter (after the equal sign).
