In the days of our grandmothers, it was very expensive to buy a good, beautiful doll. Therefore, many made them with their own hands, some from straw, some from fabric, there were also knitted dolls. This lesson taught children to be creative on their own.

- - 50 g of light turquoise, aqua and white yarn
- - knitting needles number 3
Instructions
Step 1
Before. For the right leg, cast on 24 loops with white thread and knit with the front stitch. After 12 rows, continue with aqua thread, adding 1 st at each side next to the hem. Having knitted 28 rows of 26 loops with colored thread, transfer the loops to the western knitting needle. Do the same with the left leg. Connect both parts, in the middle, cast on one loop (there will be 53 loops on the needles in total) and then knit on all loops with the front stitch, decreasing 1 loop on both sides: in every 2nd row 14 times, in every 6th row 4 times. Do the decrements as follows: from the right edge after the edge loop, remove 1 loop as the front loop, knit one with the front loop and pull the removed loop through it; from the left edge in front of the edge loop, knit two loops together with the front one. Simultaneously with the beginning of the decrease, enter the light turquoise thread and knit the stripes, changing the thread every two rows. After finishing the decreases, close the remaining 17 loops.
Step 2
Knit the back as before.
Step 3
Hand. Cast on 30 stitches with white thread and knit 8 rows with front stitch. Then continue with a navy blue thread, adding 1 loop on both sides, then add 1 more loop 2 times in each 6th row. In total, there are 36 loops on the needles. Having knitted 18 rows with colored thread, decrease on both sides 1 time by 1 loop, then 14 more times in each 2nd row by 1 loop, as described for the front. Close the remaining 6 loops.
Step 4
Head. Cast on 66 stitches with white thread and knit 46 rows with the front stitch, then pull all the loops with a working thread. Sew a seam.
Step 5
Hat. Cast on 70 stitches with light turquoise thread and knit 5 rows alternately with 1 front and 1 purl. Then continue with the front stitch, decreasing on both sides, as for the front, in each 4th row 29 times, 1 loop. Pull the remaining 12 loops with a working thread. Sew a seam.
Step 6
Ending. Sew your hands with raglan bevels to the back and front, sew them, perform side seams, leg seams. Pull the bottom edges of the hands and feet together. Stuff the doll with filler, bandage the hands and feet at the junction of the white and colored knit. Pull the loops of the torso at the necks. Stuff the head, pull off the bottom edge and sew to the body. Unscrew the edge of the cap, sew it on. Make a white pom-pom and sew to the cap. Sew the eyes with a light turquoise thread, and the nose and mouth with pink.
