Biography

Anette was born in June 1971 in a small Swedish town called Katrineholm. The future famous singer became the youngest child in a musical family, where there were already two older children - sister and brother Anette.

From early childhood she studied music. They sang, played music, danced around, and the girl kept up with her relatives, and for 8 years of her childhood, Anette played the oboe and often performed on stage with her mother's group, touring with her.

After school education, it was the turn of the choice of vocational training. Of course, it became music. Anette took vocal lessons from a private teacher at the Danish Copenhagen Conservatory of Music. From the age of 13, she began to take part in various talent competitions and for the first time performed as part of a real pop cover group at the age of 17 as a songwriter.

Career

At first, the girl, dreaming of the music scene, managed to work as a waitress, factory worker, veterinarian assistant, at the same time she sang in choirs, acted as a wedding singer, was engaged in some pretty stellar projects, attended all kinds of castings and competitions.

At the age of 21, already having a good stage experience behind her, Anette played the main role in the rock opera Gränsland in Helsingborg, then entered the ballet academy. In 1999, the singer joined the group Alyson Avenue, with which she released two albums.

In 2006, Olzon left Alison Avenue to join the symphonic metal band Nightwish as the new vocalist following the departure of Tarja Turunen. More than 2,000 girls applied for the spot, but Anette stood out from the crowd. The only thing that confused the team was that she had a little son. However, this did not become an obstacle, and soon the songs of the cult "Nightwish" began to sound performed by Anette. She gave five years to work in this team, but left it due to disagreements in 2012. The last Nightwish concert with Anette as a vocalist took place on September 29, 2012 at the Salt Lake City complex.

After that, Anette began a solo career, sometimes performing with other popular bands. Her songs were well received by critics and listeners. In 2015, the singer announced that she was ending her musical career in order to focus on working as a nurse and family. But she didn't last long - and already in 2016 she released her new mini-album, and in 2017 a musical project called The Dark Element appeared, in which Anette became a vocalist.

Personal life

The talented singer never forgot about love and married twice, giving birth to three sons to her husbands. The eldest, Seth, was born in his first marriage to Frederick Bluckert in 2001. In 2010, the middle son Nemo was born, already in his second marriage with the former bassist of Pain, Johan Husgafwel, the youngest child Mio saw this world in 2013.
