Peled or cheese is a lake fish of the whitefish family. Thanks to breeding, its range has increased significantly; in Russia, this fish is found from the Murmansk region in the north to Tajikistan in the south. It inhabits lakes in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Finland. It spawns in rivers and shallows, in late autumn and often already under the ice. Peled is often artificially bred. She is the subject of fishing and recreational fishing. The fish reaches 60cm in length and weighs up to 5kg, but most often the average lake slave weighs up to 500g. To prepare it, all processing methods are used, both for eating and for long-term storage. Fishing for peled requires certain skills and knowledge.
Instructions
Step 1
Peled is very shy. When fishing, you should definitely disguise yourself in the coastal vegetation in summer, throwing the nozzle away from the shore, and move a meter away from the hole in winter, stand or sit very quietly.
Often this fish reveals itself if small circles begin to appear on the surface of the water, splashes are heard - this is a peled walking, catching mosquitoes and other insects.
Step 2
Accordingly, mosquitoes, gammadrid, earth and sea worms, mollusk meat, bloodworms, less often maggots are used for bait on peled, in winter they often use a jig. The bait should be cast in the summer 4-5 m far from the shore, in winter it is better to fish in a shaded hole. The peled walks in the water column, so the bait is usually kept at a distance of 1 m from the bottom. During winter fishing, a little closer to spring, it is advised to pour a handful of ice-cream mormysh (amphipod) into the hole and on top a couple of handfuls of dry, the peled will jump out and grab food, and it is not difficult to catch it. Be sure to cover the ice around the hole with snow about 2 or more meters. In winter, the bait is lowered into the hole to a depth of 5-6 cm to the thickness of the ice.
Step 3
Peled are caught either with gill nets and seines, or with fly fishing and a float rod without a sinker. At the same time, the rod is chosen longer, about 5 meters, the line will do 0, 2-0, 3 mm, even taking into account large fish and a hook of 4-5 numbers. Gripping the bait with a peled feels like a blow to the line; it may take a lot of patience and line to pull out large fish.
Step 4
Another original way of whitefish fishing is common on the Volga. This is fishing with tackle, which is called pobradok. It is a meter-long rod, to the end of which a 3 m long fishing line with two or three leads is tied. At the same time, there is no float or sinker on the spoon. Catch in this way on the current. To do this, they go into the water and move the ground with their feet. The resulting muddy path is noticed from a distance by this type of fish and rises to it in search of food. Not finding it, she notices the attachment and swallows it. Experienced fishermen advise to keep the pobradok at the foot with the tip at the very bottom, and the butt in the hands. From time to time, the spoon should be released from yourself, and then pulled back. Also, some time after the start of fishing, you need to climb a few steps downstream.
We wish you good luck and a great catch.
