Peled is a surprisingly rare visitor to water bodies. It is a lake fish that lives in large lakes in Northern Russia and Siberia. And only for spawning can it go to the mouth of the river or in shallow water. The experience of catching peled is not great at all. The only thing that can be said with certainty about her is that she is very shy and approaches the baits with caution.
Instructions
Step 1
When fishing for peled, do not forget that this is a schooling fish that avoids running waters and prefers mainly channels and oxbows. Peled keeps in the water column, away from dense underwater vegetation.
Step 2
It is caught at various depths. In winter, an ordinary winter fishing rod equipped with a jig is used. Most often, industrial jigs are used to catch peled. She is not whimsical to the nozzles - earthworms, maggots, small lumps of dough are perfect. If you are using a live bait, then it will be effective to add it with pieces of red foam. You should not plant a whole worm - this will only scare the fish away. Cut a small piece from it so that the nozzle covers only the tip of the hook.
Step 3
Even in winter, peled prefers a moving nozzle. Please note that the fish always bite in different ways, sometimes in jerks, or quite noticeably. Always be ready for the hook, because after trying the attachment once, the peled will not come back to it again.
Step 4
A distinctive feature of peled fishing in winter is that it is caught exclusively at depth. To do this, a heavy weight is fixed on the fishing line, at a distance of 70 cm from the attached jig. The fishing line is fixed in such a way that the jig is located 20-30 cm from the bottom.
Step 5
To catch a peled, the nozzle should be lowered into the reservoir quickly, and removed, on the contrary, slowly. Try to throw it as far from the shore as possible and at the same time be quiet so as not to frighten the fish ahead of time.
Step 6
It should be noted that the peled bite is very sharp and energetic. Noticing prey, the fish floats diagonally to the bait, swallows and abruptly goes to the depth. At this time, the float dives and the fisherman must have time to make a hook in time. It is best to catch the peled together, since the fish resists strongly when pulling out.
