Demis Karabidis is a Russian showman, a member of the KVN team of the Kuban national team, a resident of a popular comedy show. He proposed to his beloved wife Pelageya right from the stage during a performance at a festival in Jurmala.

Demis Karabidis (Demis Karibov) was born in Tbilisi on December 4, 1982. He is Greek by nationality. The Demis family moved to Greece after the collapse of the USSR. When the future showman was 14 years old, his parents decided to move to Gelendzhik. It was hard for Demis to adapt to the new conditions. He spoke Russian poorly, and had to make up for the school curriculum. But he coped with the difficulties and entered the University of Tourism in Sochi.
