The title of any project, be it a computer manufacturing company, a symphony orchestra, or a musical ensemble, must meet a number of requirements. First, it should be short and consist of one to three words for the convenience of announcing oneself on stage or for everyday use. At the same time, it should be capacious and reflect the goals and worldview of the entire group. When naming a dance group, it is important to consider a number of other factors.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide on the direction of the dance performed by the group. Highlight three to five main words that characterize the team and its entire direction. In addition to, in fact, the direction of dancing, it can be other details: love for certain genres of cinema and animation, philosophy, religion, place or event. You can also use a general hobby, for example, sports shooting, reenactment battles, or something else.
Step 2
Under each category, write down a few words that describe the behavior of each member of the group and the entire group as a whole. At this stage, do not limit yourself, write down everything that you remember. Let it be a kind of brainstorming session. You can choose on your own or together with all the participants.
Step 3
From the list, cross out, one at a time, any words that you don't like and do not correspond to the general mood of the group. It is better to cut off the words in several "rounds": first half, then in quarters, and then one at a time. Listen to the opinions of the participants who choose the name with you. Don't insist on an option that most people don't like.
Step 4
Leave one to three words out of the variety. Make a phrase out of them in accordance with the logic of the Russian language, but leave some paradox or an element of humor. Use words that are easy to pronounce. Fans will remember these phrases more easily.
