The popularity of the game "Twister" is not easy to explain - an oilcloth rug, colored circles and a group of pushing people. Just. But once these components begin to interact, it is impossible to break away from the fun contact improvisation. You can buy a twister kit at a toy store or make at home with your own hands.

Step 1
Store kits for the twister are made of oilcloth material, the pattern from which begins to wear off after a few months of active use. Therefore, for a homemade game, it is better to take a dense, durable fabric that does not stretch well. A drape is ideal for this purpose. Cut a 160x140 cm rectangle out of it.
Step 2
Treat the edges of the rug with a bias tape: sew it around the entire perimeter by hand or on a sewing machine.
Step 3
From the colored drape, make circles - 6 pieces each in blue, red, yellow and green. Their diameter should be 18-20 centimeters. It is also better to process the edges of the circles with a bias tape. To make it lay smoother on the canvas, make cuts along its entire length of about 3-5 mm at a distance of 2 cm from each other.
Step 4
Arrange the circles on the main canvas in solid rows parallel to the longest side. The distance between the rows and between each of the colored sectors must be the same. Fasten the backing and round pieces together. They will hold better if you sew them first around the circumference and then crosswise. Since these parts of the toy will bear the greatest loads, it is worth laying each seam several times.
Step 5
They control the movements of the players with the help of a field, drawn into multi-colored sectors, and a movable arrow. At home, they can be made from cardboard. Cut a 15 cm circle out of it. Divide it into four equal parts. Place a compass in the center of the circle and draw a circle with a diameter of 12 cm. Thus, in each of the four sectors, a small field will appear on top. In the first field, write the words "right hand", in the second - "left hand, in the third -" right leg ", in the fourth -" left leg ".
Step 6
Then divide each of the four sectors into four more equal parts and paint them with blue, red, yellow and green colors.
Step 7
Insert a 1 cm bolt into the center of the circle so that its head is on the underside of the cardboard blank. Put a nut of a slightly larger diameter (about 1, 2 cm) on top of the bolt, but do not tighten it to the end.
Step 8
Using metal glue, attach the arrow cut out of cardboard to the nut. Once the glue is dry, the home twister kit can be used.
