Instructions

Step 1

We will now describe a very effective card trick:

The magician takes a deck of cards, the top card is turned over. This is the ace of hearts. Then he flips back and is laid on the table. The next card is turned over - the ace of spades. The ace of spades is turned over and deposited next to the ace of hearts. The magician makes magic passes, flips the aces, and we see - they have changed places in some magical way.

Step 2

The focus is prepared as follows: we take a deck, an ace of spades from another deck. We place 3 aces on top of the deck - 2 of spades and a heart of hearts between them.

Step 3

Demonstration of focus begins: we take out the deck. We declare to the viewers that they will now witness some inexplicable phenomenon (or something “magical” to their taste) and proceed. We capture 2 top cards from the deck at the same time. This technique is called "double lifting". We say that we have drawn an ace of hearts. We turn the cards over so that the audience does not suspect that there are 2. It turns out that we are postponing the ace of spades instead of the heart of spades.

Step 4

Again, turn over 2 cards on top with a "double raise" and say that this is the ace of spades. After turning the cards face down, the magician has an ace of hearts on top. He is put on the table.

Step 5

The final part of the trick: Putting the second card on the table, we ask where is which ace. We turn the cards over, and the astonished viewer sees that they "magically" swapped places.
