Weaving animals from beads usually means making voluminous toys on a wire, which can serve as small ornaments and accessories: pendants to phones, key chains, or just an interior decoration. At the same time, animals made of beads on a flat canvas have a much wider scope: they can be sewn onto a phone case, wrapped around the arm like a bracelet, or around the neck like a necklace. Weaving animals on a plane is much easier, and the result will exceed all your expectations.
It is necessary
- Czech or Japanese beads of the same size, shades of milky white, golden brown, medium brown, chocolate brown;
- Strong white thread (lavsan, # 40);
- Thin beaded needle;
- Two clasps.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a weaving pattern. In our case, it will be a dragon. The scheme is intended for weaving in mosaic technique, otherwise "peyote". Cast on the first white bead. Go through it twice to secure it in the loop. Leave a small (15-20 cm) ponytail to attach the clasp to later.
Step 2
Type the first vertical row according to the scheme. Apart from the first bead, it must contain an even number of beads. According to the scheme, they should all be white. Then go through the third bead from the end in the opposite direction. In this case, the last two will appear as if in one horizontal row, their holes will be parallel. Cast on one more white bead and go through the fifth bead from the end. So go through the entire row, as a result, you get two rows, reminiscent of brickwork or honeycomb.
Step 3
Then, in accordance with the scheme, dial one bead of a certain color. Make sure that the product does not deform, maintains its width along its entire length. Do not overtighten the thread and do not overly relax so that it does not break and does not show through between the rows of beads.
Step 4
At the end of the work, attach the clasps to the edges of the product, it can be worn as a wide bracelet.
