Both teenagers and adults wear multi-colored baubles, woven of thread, but few people remember that traditionally baubles carried a deep meaning, and initially they were considered a symbol of friendship and were given to each other with specific intentions and wishes. Instructions
Step 1
Take multi-colored floss threads and cut them into eight meter-long pieces. There can be more threads if you want the bracelet to be wider, but their number should always be even. Tie the threads at the end into a knot and attach to any soft and fixed base with a pin.
Step 2
Arrange the threads of the future baubles in the order in which the colored stripes on the future bracelet should be located. Start weaving the bracelet from left to right - with the leftmost thread, tie a double knot around the closest right thread, and then continue to tie each subsequent thread with the same double knots until you reach the end of the row.
Step 3
Then again go to the left edge of the bauble - now there will be another thread. Repeat the above steps - tie all threads with double knots, and then go back to the left edge.
Step 4
Weave the bauble in this way until you have finished braiding it to the desired length. As a result, you will get a narrow canvas with a pattern of colored slanted stripes.
Step 5
When choosing a color for a friendship bracelet, be guided by the feelings that you put into it, as well as the characteristics of your friend's character and style. White color in a bauble means purity and divinity, blue means calmness and heaven, red means love and passion, and a red and white bracelet will symbolize free love.
