Small New Year's souvenirs made of beads can be both a Christmas tree decoration and a keychain. And if you attach the clasp, you get a nice brooch or hairpin.
Star
To make an asterisk you will need:
- red beads - 4g;
- wire for beading - 125 cm;
- wire cutters.
Cut a piece of wire 25 cm long. Cast on 9 beads, place them in the middle and pass the end through the outermost bead and pull. You should get a loop.
Then start weaving the rays of the star in parallel weaving. In the first row, cast 1 bead on one end of the wire, pull the other end of the wire through it. In the second and third rows, string 2 beads each, in the 4th and 5th - 3 each, in the next two rows, increase the number of beads in a row by one. Beginning with the eighth row, work in reverse order.
For the second ray of the star, cut a piece of wire 25 cm long. Put 2 beads on it. Pull the ends of the wire through the outer bead towards each other and weave as described above from the second to the seventh rows.
Connect the beams. Pass the left end of the second ray wire between the seventh and eighth rows of the first ray from the right side. Finish weaving the second ray. Type 4 beads on one end of the wire, pull the other end through them towards the first.
Weave in a similar way, reducing the number of beads by one in each subsequent row. Start weaving the rest of the rays and attach them to the rest, as described above.
At the end of weaving, the ends of the wire should be in the middle of the sprocket. Twist the adjacent ends in pairs, cut off the excess, and press the twisted ends to the seams between the beams.
Press down the finished star a little, giving it a shape.
Month
Another interesting option for a New Year's souvenir. It is easy to weave, so even a novice needlewoman can make a figurine. Take:
- beads of white or light yellow color - 3g;
- wire for beading - 80 cm;
- thin brush;
- a small piece of thick wire;
- wire cutters.
Cast on a wire 2 beads and place them in the middle, pass the end through the outermost bead and pull. Weave each next row in a circular fashion, increasing every second row by one bead.
The month is a three-dimensional figure that is woven in one piece by parallel lowering.
After completing the 12th row, shape the details with a thin brush. From the 13th to the 24th row, weave in reverse order, reducing the number of beads by one in every second row. As a result of the work, a hollow part will be obtained. To shape it into a month, insert a thick wire inside and bend it slightly.
Make a loop, string 9 beads on one end of the wire. Then fold it in half and twist the wire. Cut off excess.
