Instructions
Step 1
Cut out the body of the sheep (2 parts) and the outer side of the ears. From pieces of white jersey - the muzzle (2 parts) and the inner parts of the ears.
Step 2
Then sew all the elements, folding the right side inward, turn out. At this stage, make a loop for hanging by inserting the braid (tape) inside the body, stitching at the top of the head. On the cut out face, sew a dart, then join the 2 parts together with a seam.
Step 3
Stuff your head and torso with filler. On the muzzle, perform the operation of tightening the recesses for the eyes, and in the gap between the darts - for the mouth. The tightening allows you to give personality and expressiveness to the hero.
Step 4
First, insert the needle into the crown and bring it out in the center of the dart, return again to the top and secure with a knot. The tightening force is determined by the size and shape of the eyes, and the expression "muzzle-face" of the character should also be taken into account. Baste or glue the ears to the head.
Step 5
On the pattern of the body, the dotted line indicates the place of attachment of the head. Take the padded body and cut in the indicated area on the diagram. Remove some filler and insert the animal's head, secure with needles. Determine the position of the head: tilted, slightly raised or lowered. Then sew around the perimeter of the neck by hand with blind stitches.
Step 6
Divide the cord into 4 pieces of 2 types: 5 cm long (for "arms") and 7 cm long (for legs). Attach a hoop bead to one edge of each piece. Mark the attachment points for the "arms" by making symmetrical miniature cuts along the sides of the torso. Dropping glue into the hole, insert the free end of the cord, moistened with glue.
Step 7
From the bottom of the body, to attach the lower limbs, first sew the hollow space (in a circle) and pull the thread loosely. Insert the leg cord, having previously greased the edge with glue, and tighten the gap to the limit. Eyes can be made of polymer clay, painted with varnish.
Step 8
Tint all seams and eye sockets with dry brown pastel, pink inside the ear. Embroider a triangle nose, depict a blush. Glue the eyes with eyelashes. Make a tail from a thin strip of fleece by tying it in a knot and gluing it to the torso. Decorate the New Year's sheep at your discretion: bows, roses, bells.
