The current wife of humorist and actor Garik Kharlamov, Christina Asmus, is well known to the viewer from the TV series Interns. However, fans of the comedian know that Asmus is Kharlamov's second wife. For Christina's sake, Garik left his first wife, Yulia Leshchenko, with whom he had lived for about 6 years.
In 2000, Garik Kharlamov met the singer Svetlana Svetikova, who was then shining on the stage. A stormy romance began between the young people. However, six months later, the couple broke up due to Svetlana's betrayal. Garik found a new love a few years later in the person of the modest provincial Yulia Leshchenko who came to conquer Moscow.
Biography
Julia Leshchenko was born on July 1, 1984 in Volgodonsk in the simplest family. Even as a child, the girl became interested in dancing and by the time she graduated from school she was able to master several styles. Having received a certificate of maturity, Julia went to Moscow to look for a better life.
Arriving in the capital, at first the girl worked as a dance teacher. Soon her talent was noticed and invited to one of the nightclubs as a manager. Within a month of working in this institution, the active and charming Julia became the manager.
A meeting
For the first time, Garik Kharlamov and Yulia Leshchenko met in the very nightclub where the girl worked. The institution received an order to organize an evening for the Comedy Club. Members of the then not too well-known, but already well-known troupe, Yulia met at the entrance in person.
The club chosen for the party was very popular among the participants of the Comedy Club. After a while, they visited him again, and then began to appear here quite often. At one of these parties, Julia and Garik met. Later, the actor confessed to the girl that he had noticed her on the day she met their troupe for the first time.
Civil marriage
In 2005, Yulia and Garik began a life together in an apartment rented in the center of Moscow. Young people almost never had common interests. However, they still loved each other very much and were happy. The only thing that spoiled the idyllic picture was that Julia took too much of her time to work.
She could be called to the club, where she was still the manager, even at 3 in the morning. Kharlamov, of course, did not like this very much. The comedian who was not too famous then even began to be jealous of his girlfriend and suspect her of infidelity. And it is not surprising - Julia's club was often attended by much more respectable and wealthy men than himself.
After a while, the actor began to insist that his girlfriend quit her job, and Julia agreed to this. Garrick and Julia lived in a civil marriage for about 4.5 years. According to Leshchenko, she always dreamed of formalizing the marriage officially, which Garik Kharlamov himself did not object to. However, the plans of young people to visit the registry office were constantly thwarted by some external circumstances.
At the very beginning of the relationship, Garik and Julia simply did not have enough money for the wedding, since they had to save up for their own apartment. After the departure of Kharlamov from the Comedy Club, the financial situation of the young couple has completely deteriorated.
Once the actor nevertheless decided to propose to Julia and even gave her an engagement ring. However, shortly after that, a serious disagreement occurred between the lovers, as a result of which Julia even left Kharlamov.
The offense was soon forgotten, the young people made up and began to live together again. However, for a long time later, they recalled the wedding only occasionally, casually and not too seriously.
Marriage proposal
In 2009, as Yulia Leshchenko herself recalls, Garik offered her a choice - to buy a new car or play a wedding with this money. The girl, without hesitation, chose the latter. After all, after all, 4.5 years of civil marriage is a lot.
Yulia started organizing the wedding herself. Garik only took care of buying a suit. The young people celebrated the wedding in a close circle of friends - mainly Garik's former colleagues from the Comedy Club.
Family life
If before the wedding, quarrels between young people still happened, then after the marriage they stopped altogether. The couple even began to think about having a baby. However, Julia did not succeed in getting pregnant.
To solve this problem, young people even visited specialists. After the examination, the doctors informed them that both of them were absolutely healthy. But the couple did not manage to have a common child in the future.
The specificity of Garik's work was such that he was constantly forced to go on tour. At first, Julia expressed a desire to accompany her husband. However, Garik insisted that she wait for him at home.
Apparently, the constant separation in the future became the reason for the separation of the spouses and the cooling of their relationship. Once on tour Kharlamov met Christina Asmus, with whom he found much more common interests than with Julia.
For half a year Leshchenko did not even suspect about her husband's infidelity. He told her about the breakup himself, right after she returned from Tibet, where she went to rest on a tourist voucher.
Divorce
Divorce for both Julia and Garik became a very difficult test. After parting, the young people divided the property for a long time. Garik decided to leave his former lover with nothing. To protect her interests, Yulia even had to sue to invalidate their divorce.
Soon the passions subsided. Garik married Christina Asmus, and Julia decided to come to grips with her career and destiny. After the divorce, the woman changed her color from blonde to brunette, organized her own business abroad and opened a store in Russia selling ginseng-based products. Today, Kharlamov's ex-wife, in her own words, no longer remembers the offense inflicted on her by Garik, and feels like a successful and absolutely happy woman.
