Photography is a popular and fashionable hobby. You don't have to buy expensive equipment to become a good photographer. At first, it's enough just to learn how to take pictures with a regular soap dish.

Step 1
Get a good camera. Soap trays are also different - and some of them can be used to photograph real masterpieces. Pay attention to the manufacturer, sensor size and flash quality. Often the most expensive cameras are capable of adding various special effects and frames to photographs, but this often remains unclaimed. Ignore the popular smile photography or face detection features - you probably won't need it. Better make sure that the picture quality is good, the presence of noise reduction and the presence of optical zoom.

Choose a genre. You can try different genres at least every day, they all require certain settings. Forget about the auto mode - it is very convenient, but often it cannot reflect the author's idea. When you decide to shoot a landscape, for example, experiment with camera settings, zoom, and shutter speed. Only practice will help you achieve optimal results.
Step 3
Learn the terms. With a little stuffing your hand, plunge into the complex world of photo-terms. It is not necessary to know them on a professional level, but you should at least understand what is "shutter speed", "aperture", "ISO", "focus", etc. You will not find serious adjustments in your soap box, but even the small adjustments that you make with the camera will help you achieve better picture quality and express your intentions more fully.
Step 4
Start with easy plots. Night and macro photography, shooting moving objects is difficult enough for a novice photographer. Moreover, the quality of an ordinary soap dish also leaves much to be desired. Focus on simpler genres - still lifes, landscapes, portraits, animals.
Step 5
Don't forget about composition. In theory, the image is best perceived in which the main visual information is located on the left and below, a kind of inverted letter L. Try to take such photos, and you will see how harmonious they will look. Also check the frame so that there is nothing superfluous in it - accidentally hitting tree branches, objects blocking the model, etc.
Step 6
Watch your focus. The focus is able to fully reveal the skill of the photographer. You don't need to focus on the foreground or closest subject. With focus, you can convey the mood of a photo and express your thought.
