Step 1
There are three basic rules on which modern photography is built. This is lighting, composition and processing of photography. Go through each of these points separately.
Step 2
Composition. Before you start directly with the shooting process, decide on the subject that you are going to photograph or with the person whose image will show off in the picture. If you are shooting a building, then move away to capture it entirely, and not cut off the "half tower". If you are photographing a person, then make sure that he is the basis of the picture if it is a portrait photo.
Step 3
Lighting - Many photographers keep repeating over and over that light is the key to success for beautiful photography. Do not photograph in the sun. You will not be able to see anything in such a picture, except for the dark shapes. It is best to photograph when the sun is not too bright. If you take pictures in the summer, it is best to take pictures either in the morning or after 4 pm. At other times of the year, the sun is not a hindrance. In the pleasant warm rays of the sun, a very delicate skin tone and beautiful shine of hair is obtained if a person is photographed. Try to catch the right light.
Step 4
No need to put the model in the sun. In the picture, she will squint, which no one will like. If the model has chubby legs, then she should not sit in front of the camera. Take pictures in half-turn. It is important to remember that everyone has advantages and disadvantages. Try to photograph the person from below if you want to visually increase the height of the model. This also visually lengthens the model's legs. If a person has a too wide lower part of the face, for example, a double chin, then you should not take pictures from below, on the contrary, try to take pictures from above.
Step 5
Look for unusual places. Do not take "hackneyed" pictures. In autumn, nature amazes with its palette of colors as never before. Don't miss the moment. Don't part with your camera. This will allow you to practice more often.
Step 6
Treatment. Beauty is naturalness. It's the same with photography. Don't overload it with effects. You can add color by increasing the contrast, or crop to remove excess. But don't get carried away with over-processing.
Step 7
Practice, practice and more practice. Take a lot of pictures to determine the genre. You can re-read many books, listen to a bunch of advice, but nothing can replace your personal observations that you will make during the shooting. Good luck!
