They say that such an artificial tree made with your own hands can not only decorate your interior, but also bring happiness and good luck. Make a New Year's topiary simply and quickly, practically from scrap materials.
To create a New Year's topiary, of course, you will need Christmas tree decorations. Choose their size depending on the size of the tree (or rather, the base and length of the trunk), as well as the pot. In addition, find a piece of foam, in which household appliances and some gadgets are usually packed, as well as fabric for decorating a pot, cardboard for a tree leg (a cardboard or plastic base from under cling film or paper towels is suitable), glue (you can use a hot glue gun, but you can also another that is suitable for plastic), as well as toothpicks.
The order of execution is obvious from the photo:
First, we wrap the flower pot with an elegant cloth (the edge of the fabric can be glued from the inside of the pot with glue or double-sided tape). We put a piece of foam plastic there (a floral oasis for artificial flowers is also suitable), which must be sized so that it fits into the pot with some effort. We insert the tree trunk wrapped with tape into it (we also glue the ends of the tape to the base).
We put a piece of polystyrene on top of the trunk, with cut corners and begin to form the crown of the tree.
You glue Christmas decorations and other similar decorations on toothpicks with hot glue and insert the toothpicks into the foam so that the crown of the tree turns out to be spherical. We fill it with rain, small cones, bows in such a way that what is inside is not visible. In the pot, to the base of the tree, we wind a garland of shiny paper or mask the foam in a pot in a different way.
