All children love playing with water, every parent knows this. Almost any toys and household items that do not sink in water and do not get wet are suitable for water games. Today we will tell you how to make a toy boat from scrap materials for playing in the water.

It is necessary

You will need a tray, a motor from any old toy, two batteries and two wires, electrical tape and a small piece of a plastic bottle, about 5x2 cm

Instructions

Step 1

Option one - a boat made of a plastic tray (on such trays in stores sell meat and some other products).

Step 2

Make a small hole in the center of this rectangle.

Step 3

Having retreated 5 mm from it, make transverse cuts, bend the resulting blades towards each other by about 50 °. Next, attach the motor from the old toy to the edge of the tray with electrical tape.

Step 4

Slide the blades over the motor. Connect the batteries together: plus or minus. Twist them tightly with electrical tape. Connect the remaining leads with wires and attach to the motor. Decorate the boat if you wish; you can involve a child in this work. The boat is ready for sea adventures!

Step 5

Option two - a real ship from a plastic bottle. You will need a plastic bottle (of any size), 3 pole sticks (you can use old pencils), colored sail paper, scissors and plasticine.

Step 6

Without removing the cap from the bottle and holding the bottle horizontally, cut the upper part so that the lower one forms a kind of container - a ship.

Step 7

On the bottom of the resulting container, glue three pieces of plasticine. This is for the stability of the structure. Cut three rectangles out of colored paper - one larger, two smaller. These are the sails.

Step 8

Make small holes at the top and bottom of the rectangles, insert the masts into them. The sails should not slide down. Stick the masts with sails into the plasticine.

Step 9

Take a string, tie it to the bottle cap, then stretch it over the entire ship, tying the tops of the masts. Secure the thread at the back of the ship by punching a small hole there. For ballast, attach a piece of plasticine to the bottom of the ship. So, the ship is ready for water tests. If the ship is unstable on the water, add more plasticine on the bottom. Make some ships and arrange a real sea battle!
