It is necessary

  • - 1, 2–1, 5 m of fabric;
  • - threads to match the fabric;
  • - safety pins.

Instructions

Step 1

Build a dress pants pattern according to your measurements. If you think that this is too difficult and time-consuming for you, then reshoot the pattern from the fashion magazine. The disadvantage of this method is that the finished drawings are built on a standard shape. You can make some changes to the finished pattern, based on the characteristics of your physique.

Step 2

Lay out the details of the pattern on the seamy side of the fabric, circle them with a special tailor's chalk or remnant, cut out, leaving allowances for the seams and along the cuts 1.5 cm, and for hemming the bottom - 3 cm.

Step 3

Next, start sewing the side pockets. Fold the burlap with the front half and stitch along the entrance to the pocket. Turn it up and stitch close to the seam for the seam allowance. Now turn the sacking back to the wrong side. Place the side piece on the front piece, align the pocket entry with the marked line on the side piece and pin the pieces together with safety pins. Sew the burlap slices.

Step 4

Sew darts on the back and front halves and press them to the center line of the part. Fold the front and back halves in pairs, right-side up. Stitch the crotch and side seams, overstitch and iron them.

Step 5

Turn one leg to the right side and put them inside each other. Then line up the crotch seams and sew the line of the seat up to the closure mark. Overlap the seam and press.

Step 6

Next, sew on the zipper. To do this, press the one-piece cut trims on the seamy side, and press the trim on the right along the line of the middle of the front, and on the left side - not reaching 5 mm to the line of the middle.

Step 7

Sew the left side of the zipper under the hem of the seam allowance, keeping the teeth of the zipper close to the fold. Sew the right side to the piping without grabbing the half of the trousers. Stitch along the zipper on the right half of the pants along the markings.

Step 8

Sew the belt to the upper cuts. Press the seam allowance towards the waist. Fold it along the right side inward and sew short cuts, cut the corners close to the seam, turn the belt out.

Step 9

Fold the bottom cut over to the wrong side, baste by hand, and stitch from the right side. Try to do this exactly in the stitching seam. Sew on a hook or flat button as a fastener.

Step 10

Press hem allowances on wrong side and sew by hand with blind stitch. Iron the “arrows” on the finished product.
